At its website the Competition Authority provides information on the activities which it carries out in the exercise of its powers and duties. This information is as up-to-date and as accurate as possible. The Authority’s aim is to inform business enterprises and the general public of the guidelines considered relevant to competition policy and the conditions on which they must be carried out.

Despite the Competition Authority’s endeavours to guarantee the quality of the site content, the information provided is of a general nature and may be incomplete or not fully updated.

With regard to the legislation published, the Competition Authority cannot warrant that the information made available exactly reproduces the official text. Thus, solely the version of legislation published in the Portuguese parliamentary gazette Diário da República (for national legislation) and in the Official Journal of the European Union (for Community legislation) is considered authentic.

The Competition Authority has no control over external links appearing at the website. Accordingly, it can accept no responsibility for their content.
