Ibero-American Competition Network

The Ibero-American Competition Network (RIAC) is a platform for cooperation focussed on the exchange of information between the members of the Ibero-American Competition Forum.

The Ibero-American Competition Network was created as a means to fulfilling the objective of the Ibero-American Competition Forum of sharing information on the practical application and implementation of the rules of competition in the member countries and of contributing to institutional know-how by way of a knowledge network on competition law and economics.

Portugal was a founding member of the Ibero-American Competition Forum, created in 2002, in Madrid, Spain, at a meeting of all of the Ibero-American competition authorities. The principle objective of this forum is to promote debate and reflection on competition issues on a regional level.
