The AdC issued a non-opposition decision to the merger 18/2022 - ALSO / Distribuição JP Sá Couto
On June 7, 2022, the Board of Directors of the Competition Authority, using the powers conferred on it by subparagraph d) of paragraph 1 of article 19 of the Statutes, approved by Decree-Law no. 125/2014, of 18 August , decides to adopt a decision not to oppose the merger, under the terms of subparagraph b) of paragraph 1 of article 50 of the Competition Law, since it is not likely to create significant barriers to competition in Portugal.
