The AdC invites all those interested in being appointed as non-governmental advisors (NGAs) of the AdC in the International Competition Network (ICN) to express their interest. The AdC intends to continue strengthening its international cooperation within this Network by promoting the involvement and participation of NGAs, including competition experts from various fields, such as lawyers, legal practitioners, economists, consultants, representatives of international associations or organizations, academics, among other private practitioners. 

NGAs actively participate in the work of the ICN, contributing their knowledge and expertise to discussions and the development of international best practices in competition matters. Selected candidates will be appointed to one of the following Working Groups:

• Agency Effectiveness

• Advocacy

• Cartels

• Mergers

• Unilateral Conduct

Serving as an NGA provides an opportunity to join a leading international network, collaborate with experts from different jurisdictions, and contribute to the development of competition policy and practices at the international level.

Expressions of interest must be submitted by 4 September 2026 to international@concorrencia.pt. These must be accompanied by a curriculum vitae and a letter of motivation stating the working group in which one wishes to participate.
