María has worked at the renowned antitrust Chilean law firm FerradaNehme and the Chilean competition agency (Fiscalía Nacional Económica). As for her academic background, María has worked as a lecturer and assistant professor at the Universidad de Chile and the Universidad Alberto Hurtado.
