The AdC works in partnership with competition authorities in the European Union and internationally, with a view to ensuring the efficient functioning of markets and the protection of consumers.
Cooperation in the European Union

In addition, the AdC is also a member of the European Competition Authorities (ECA) and has bilateral relations with European competition authorities.
Multilateral cooperation: cooperation with international organizations - OECD and UNCTAD. The AdC also participates in multilateral cooperation networks such as the ICN and the Lusophone Competition Network.
Bilateral cooperation: the collaboration is carried out through Technical Cooperation Protocols and mutual interest projects between competition authorities.
